QuietCue scrolls your script at a steady pace while you read to camera. No account, no install, and your scripts never leave your device.
QuietCue is a teleprompter for video, talks and presentations. Write or import a script, set the speed in words per minute, and read from a steady scroll with a guide that shows where you are. You can record yourself, let your voice drive the scroll, or run it from your phone.
It works on a laptop, a tablet or a phone, with a mouse, a keyboard, a presentation clicker or a foot pedal. It is built for teleprompter rigs too: mirror the text and the reflection reads correctly.
The guide covers script markup, the settings, mirror rigs and troubleshooting.
Presentation clickers and Bluetooth foot pedals usually send PageUp, PageDown, arrows, Space, B or a full stop, so they work without setup.

Yes. There is no account, no subscription and no watermark. Everything runs in your browser, so there is nothing to pay for.
No. Scripts and settings are stored in your browser on your own device. QuietCue has no server that receives them. Clearing your site data deletes them, so export a backup if they matter.
Yes. After your first visit the app is cached by your browser and opens without a connection. You can also install it as an app. The phone remote and cloud voice recognition need internet.
Yes. Turn on horizontal mirroring so the reflected text reads correctly, or vertical mirroring for rigs that need it. Only the script is mirrored; the controls stay readable.
QuietCue never receives your audio. Voice follow uses your browser's speech recognition. Where the browser can run it on your device (Chrome with a language pack), nothing leaves the device. Otherwise the browser may use its vendor's cloud speech service, and QuietCue asks for your agreement before it starts. Voice follow works in Chrome, Edge and Safari, not Firefox.
Yes. Open the phone remote in the prompter, scan the QR code with your phone, and use it as a remote control for play, pause, speed, sections and recording. Both devices need internet, and the prompter tab must stay in the foreground. Only control commands and numeric status pass through the relay, never your script.
The prompter, script library, import and export, and offline use work in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile. Camera recording works in all of them with HTTPS and your permission. Fullscreen is not available for web pages on iPhone; add QuietCue to your Home Screen instead.
